--Company Overview
Eightcap is an Australian online financial trading Company that specializes in foreign exchange (Forex) and contract for difference (CFD) trading, offering over 250 tradable instruments to retail clients. The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has offices in the UK, Cyprus, Guatemala, Philippines, Bahamas, and Bulgaria.

Quickly becoming a leader in its field, Eightcap has gone from strength to strength and experiencing rapid growth. Because of this, we are looking for a Sales Manager to join the team.

The China Desk team collaborates to provide the successful candidate with a great knowledge base of the company and the broader financial services industry.


--Purpose of the Position
Account manager will be responsible for serving the clients, ensuring on-going support and value added throughout the client’s journey cycle. To convert the warm leads to new clients in order to increase our active trading account pool. Be the first point of contact to our new clients, provide all-rounded professional service. This includes answering general inquiries by multiple communication channels, using versatile selling skills for KPIs, promoting products and services, liaising with all departments to resolve issues, maintaining high levels of account management and strong relationships.


--Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities set out below are not exhaustive:

1. Providing professional services to customers through all dealings.
2. Providing all relevant information to ensure the client's onboarding process smoothly.
3. Answering client’s inquiries via various communication channels.
4. Converting the warm leads to new clients.
5. Using soft selling, upselling, cross-selling skills for daily sales activities.
6. Providing general advice for assisting client’s trading activities.
7. Conducting daily market updates for the sales team once a week.
8. Liaising with all departments to resolve issues.
9. Maintaining a high level of account management and strong relationships with clients.
10. Working towards specific KPIs to meet the sales targets.


--Selection criteria
Essential:
1. Mandarin and English language proficiency (Cantonese will be advantageous)
2. CFD/FX industry experience (include internship) preferred.
3. Previous exposure to client facing environments, such as sales, customer services and inbound/outbound support is a must.
4. Phone sales experience will be advantageous.
5. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
6. Self-motivated and confident attribute.
7. Strong passion for the financial markets and trading industry.
8. Fast-learner and eager to learn new knowledge.
9. Comfortable making high quantities of outbound calls on a daily basis.
10. Ability to work under pressure and a fast-paced environment.
11. Ability to work towards specific KPIs to meet sales targets.
12. Ability to work individually and efficiently with teamwork spirit.
13. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office, typing speed).
14. Previous trading and investing experience will be advantageous.


--Desired:
1. Prior experience in the online trading environment will be viewed favorably.
2. Educational background on Economics or Finance will be advantageous.
